During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 food and drink applications in Cyprus showed interesting trends in downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a clear picture of how these apps fared from January to March.

Foody: Food & Grocery Delivery experienced fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with 1.4K downloads in the last week of December, the app saw a significant increase to 4.7K downloads by the week of January 23. However, by the end of March, downloads had decreased to just under 1K.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more maintained a steadier trend in weekly downloads. The app started with around 1.5K downloads in the final week of December and fluctuated slightly, reaching a peak of 1.8K downloads in the week of February 13. By the end of March, downloads decreased slightly to approximately 1.5K.

The McDonald's app also showed varying download numbers. It started with about 1.3K downloads at the end of December, dipped to around 1K in early January, and then gradually increased to 1.6K by the last week of March.

Zomato: Food Delivery & Dining had a notable rise in weekly downloads over the quarter. Beginning with just 116 downloads in late December, the app saw a dramatic increase, peaking at 2.4K downloads in the last week of March. The most significant growth occurred between February and March.

Lastly, Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway exhibited a relatively stable trend in downloads. Starting with 762 downloads in late December, the app saw a slight increase, eventually reaching 994 downloads by mid-February. The quarter ended with 944 downloads in the last week of March.
